The "Sites of Remarkable Taste" encompass over sixty territories where tourism, agriculture, nature, and culture coexist harmoniously, to the delight of both local producers and visitors. These regions and departments offer opportunities for exploration throughout the year, following the harvest and production seasons, whether for a holiday or a weekend getaway, or during the numerous fairs, traditional festivals, and other events celebrating this agricultural and cultural heritage.

Formerly a sports journalist, Stéphane Méjanès has been a food critic since 2012. A free and independent writer, he tells stories, from farm to table, for various magazines. He received the 2019 Plume d'Or award from Les Grandes Tables du Monde and the 2018 Amunategui-Curnonsky Prize from the APCIG. He is the author of *Tailler une plume – croquons le critique gastronomique* (Éditions de l'Épure, 2019), * Chabichou Courchevel - Stéphane Buron* (2020), and * La Cuisine du fromager * (with J.-C. Karmann and B. Mure-Ravaud, 2022).
