Since the first edition, the fruit of the labor of many enthusiasts, more than five years have passed. The microbrewery scene has experienced explosive growth! The opening of new craft breweries and microbreweries, along with the enthusiasm of consumers and retailers for specialty beer, has inspired us to return to our keyboards. Jean-François Joannette was one of the first grocers in Quebec to develop the niche of selling specialty beers, when he was co-owner of the Metro Joannette market in Verdun. He now shares his expertise with several retailers who want to offer a range of flavorful beers to their customers. He is also the driving force behind this book project about Quebec microbreweries.
