Chilean-born Alexandra Diaz, who grew up in Sainte-Foy (a Quebec City girl!), co-authored and co-directed the successful Famille futée cookbook series, in addition to serving as its artistic director. She also produced and hosted the family-oriented television program Cuisine futée, parents pressés (Smart Cooking for Busy Parents) for six years. Previously, she worked as a cultural journalist for 16 years at Radio-Canada and the TVA network.
