Details
Lysanne O'Bomsawin is the owner of the company Le Traiteur Québénakis. She has participated in the last three editions of the Montréal en Lumière festival.
A unique work, never before seen on the Quebec market, where ancestral techniques are interwoven with recipes. Rich in history and information about the territory and culinary traditions of First Nations, it distinguishes, among other things, between boreal cuisine developed in recent years (often by non-Indigenous peoples) and the traditional food of Indigenous peoples. Recipes that will delight hunters, fishers, and gatherers… but not only them: substitute ingredients are suggested so that the dishes can be prepared by everyone.
