With all my heart - Amine Laabi, Alexandra Diaz

Originally from Morocco, Amine Laabi arrived in Canada at the age of 11. A hyperactive young boy who didn't much care for school, he enrolled in culinary school at the age of 25 to pursue his dream of becoming a chef. His perseverance and creativity led him to an internship at Maison Boulud, a fine-dining restaurant in Montreal. He then worked at Café Gentile Westmount, where he became sous-chef. In 2022, he participated in the 11th edition of the culinary competition Les Chefs and has since charmed the public.

Chilean-born Alexandra Diaz, who grew up in Sainte-Foy (a Quebec City girl!), co-authored and co-directed the successful Famille futée cookbook series, in addition to serving as its artistic director. She also produced and hosted the family-oriented television program Cuisine futée, parents pressés (Smart Cooking for Busy Parents) for six years. Previously, she worked as a cultural journalist for 16 years at Radio-Canada and the TVA network.
